Sonimus is pleased to announce the release of the StonEQ 4k Satson series plugin, inspired by the idea of mixing the best of the Brown and Black EQs from the SSL 4000 series mixing console. Differing from the hundreds of analog EQ emulations in the plugin market, StonEQ 4k has its own personality, color and behavior. It’s not trying to be a faithful emulation of the original EQ, according to the developer. For example, when using the Width control, you may notice that from 0% to 49% the equalizer is surgical, for repair work or to zero in on specific frequencies (more like the Black EQ). However, when in 50% to 100% width territory, the band will become much more musical. StonEQ 4k also features zero latency operation, its own unique form of saturation ranging from subtle to aggressive, and it supports sample rates up to 192 kHz.

Sonimus StonEQ 4k is available now for $59, with an intro price of $49. It requires macOS 10.8 or later and an AU, VST, or AAX plugin host.
