Re: Redmatica Activation Question

Chances are you won't be able to activate it. Redmatica always used internet activation.

Never used a boxed version, though. So you're better off talking to someone who purchased one such box.

henryrobinett wrote:Does anyone know anything about whether this will or not work with 10.7.5.
It doesn't. The last version was published in 2009, before 10.7 was out.

Re: Apple has acquired Redmatica

Hi nosfoe and all, Indeed, the court ruled that selling second had software is no crime. UsedSoft, however, was fined for hiding the seller's name by means of a notary. But their business was considered legitimate, and Oracle lost its case. That happened regardless of the EULA. (Some EULAs are just ...

Re: Best OSX for Keymap 1.5?

Compendium 1.5 works up to Snow Leopard (10.6). Will NOT work on Lion (10.7) and above.

Re: Apple has acquired Redmatica

So if we are a pre 2009 customer and have switched computers since then or since the last update, we can't use Redmatica products? The Compendium 1 – AutoSampler 1.6, EXS Manager 2 and Keymap Pro 1.5 – should work on Snow Leopard. I had them on a SL machine and they all worked fine. Towards the end...

Re: Apple has acquired Redmatica

The latest versions will install with the serial numbers Redmatica sent you. No more User Center (for Keymap 2, Pro Manager 3 and AutoSampler 2) or challenge codes (for older apps).

De-clicker and noise reduction software/plugin?

Hi everybody, I wonder what your suggestions as to a good software/plugin for audio restoration would be. In the past I used SoundSoap from Bias, but I see it's no longer being sold. Reading through DSP-Quattro I see that it has similar features, but I'd welcome your opinions about it and any other ...

... possible to upgrade from Snow Leopard to Lion
Do it now, once Mountain Lion is out, Lion is no longer available.
...will Mountain Lion break Keymap?
Very likely. Or at least there'll be glitches that won't be fixed.
if logicX is mtn lion only i'll likely not upgrade.
Ditto. ;)

Re: Redmatica applications are gone from the App Store

Dead? Hardly. The amazing functionality will still be available.
What I meant is: as stand-alone applications, they do not exist anymore. They might become some Apple add-on for Logic, but who knows? Sorry if I didn't make it clear before.

Re: Redmatica applications are gone from the App Store

It's hard to say... As stand alone, independent apps, they are pretty much dead. And since Apple's aggressive upgrading, non-backwards compatibility policy renders a lot of software -- including their own -- unusable within two OS revisions, it's likely that these apps won't work with OS 10.8, due s...

Re: Serial numbers for old Redmatica products (pre-2009)

takes some of the sting out doesn't it. It sure does. :) To be fair with Andrea, I think he gave excellent support over the years and I found it hard to believe he was going to let us down on this one. I might upgrade to the newer, App store versions sometime in the future. But I might as well star...

Re: Apple has acquired Redmatica

27 and all, A quick, happy-ending update: I have received the serial numbers for legacy products from Andrea. For fairness' sake, I have posted a thread on that topic. Still sad to see Redmatica go, but the issue that was pissing me off was solved. See this thread: http://www.macosxaudio.com/forums/...
