We know that Soundflower (which is not a Redmatica product) has a few problems in 10.7.
If you have digital I/O, you can also consider using a digital loopback in your Mac.
If you have a reasonable analog I/O, going analog is not insane either.

No, all channels are considered equally.

I am an old Keymap (1.5x)/EXS Manager/Autosampler user. For Keymap there was the road to keymap, keymap pro and one ... seems like keymap died? Correct, plain "Keymap" was discontinued at the end of 2010. Now there's Keymap Pro 2.3 and Keymap One 2.3. From Keymap 1.5 you can upgrade to Keymap Pro 2...

...but.... aren't the EXS24 and Kontakt already reading REX files?

If you want us to look more in detail into this, please do the following:

- record the "critical" cymbal in KMP with no Autostop (i.e. leave it go for 30-40 seconds)
- send us that multichannel sample

The recording should start when *any* of the channel's level rises above the given threshold. It should stop when *all* channel's levels have fallen below the given threshold.

Correct, but if the recording is relatively long, there are other mechanisms kicking in. So, how long is each hit?

For each patch:

- select the patch in AS
- enter the Bank number for that specific patch

You can also select multiple patches in AS if you want to edit the bank for them all.

You need to force EM/PM to scan those suffix-less files (yes, it's an error to have suffix-less files in OSX).
Go to Preferences>General and enable the "Also scan files with no recognized type or suffix" checkbox.

ExsManager 2.9 is not compatible with Logic 9.1, as Apple did change the EXS format.

Thank you for the video. What you see happens because you have loaded the instrument in the *editor*, not in the *EXS24*. The two things sometimes are not linked as they should, based on where your files are. The right places where to put the files are described in the Logic Studio Instruments docs ...
