Legay, it's an old one. serial 21 02009.

It works one way. Either dig in or dig out on the MPX-1, but not both, i always get a lock error.

man, if you want something that sounds like a virus...why not get a virus? a used one pre-TI will not cost a lot and you can do whatever you want with that kind of power in a synth. no burden on your CPU, no latency...

You'll get close to a Virus with Zebra, for sure. There are a lot of interesting softsynths out there, and they all sound great, but a problem I often find is that most times, the sounds lack the 'character' i am looking for. This is a debate that can go on forever though. To each his own. IMHO, it ...

i still think being able to send pre-insert would be interesting, i mean, why not? why not! any workaround suggested involves more manipulations, when sending pre-insert is just more straight to the point. anyway, i am not complaining, i am in mixing mode these days, and i get things done with Logic...

ok, fader8 over at another forum says Pluggo's Pluggo Bus plug-in could achieve it. I'll check it out and report back, even though no one seems to see the advantage of sending pre-insert...

hey _bp,

i agree it is debatable if you don't need it, but in this update of my workflow i'm currently working on, it would be useful.

and that workflow involves quite a lot of interaction between busses, so fyi i do use them a lot also.

i think inside a DAW we should have the option to send pre-insert...no reason why we shouldn't be able to...

maybe there is and we just haven't found it. maybe there is a plugin on insert, that can send???
