Another reason why Apple haven't implemented Logic-style dongle copy protection in all their other software could be that it's sort of accepted in the music industry, but not in other industries. I'm happy to say that the graphics field (in which I work) doesn't have to put up with dongles in any of...

Yes you have more protection on Macs...but thats because there are hardly any virsues for it. Kids don't sit in their bedrooms making viruses for a platform that virtually no offices int he world have installed, they make it for Windows. Would the protection be so strong in its current state if 90%...

I've been using Xlear for 2 weeks now, thanks to this thread, and I'm starting to notice a difference. I'll definitely be ordering more of the stuff.

So I'll be telling my PC-using friends that I'm running OS Y Labrador. Sounds about as uncool as you can get. Great. As if all the sneering about the move to Intel wasn't enough, they'll laugh openly in the streets about that one!

I'm using special inkjet compatible CDs. They cost more than regular CD-Rs but if you do a search you'll find plenty of sites selling them.

The CD labelling software that came with it sucks as far as the design capability goes, but I found you can do your label in Photoshop or whatever, then just import it and place it on the template. I found that's the best way to get the ...

If anyone who's having trouble with iDrum and 7.1/Tiger wants to e-mail me directly (agillesp -- you can figure the rest of the address out :)), I'll hook you up with a version that's passing validation here (but hasn't completed our rather long and laborious release test cycle). Thanks for that Ar...
