Logic 8 (composition / instruments) and Sequoia (all things audio) on a regular basis. Live 5 and Reaper on occasion. Samplitude and Sequoia are getting much better with their MIDI capacity and are still unrivaled for audio in terms of the way I like to work.

Given how powerful any major DAW is at this time, especially when compared to analog tape systems, my impression is that, given a choice of platform (Mac or PC), I could honestly be happy pulling a DAW name out of the hat. That's it! Just me and that DAW (and my choice of 3rd party instruments and processors. )

There is a peace of mind and level of efficiency that comes with using a single DAW: knowing a how it thinks, and understanding it's limitations in order to devise a work arounds.

Maybe it's age or just general information overload in today's world, but I no longer care to keep in mind key commands, and general operating procedures for three DAW. Setting up key commands for the most frequently executed functions to match the primary DAW does help. 3rd party processors and instruments are a consistent, familiar element when working with multiple DAW. In this case, each DAW is like an operating system (a concept generated by a friend). If the need to use multiple DAW is driven by business or by a creative collaboration, then it make good sense.

But as an individual with a bad case of G.A.S., I've reached my own outer limits.
i5 MBP-10.8, Mac Pro 1,1-10.7.4, Ensemble, Track 16, 828 mkll-Black Lion, Logic 9.1.7, Cubase 6.5.1, DP 7.2.4, Machfive 3, HALion 4.5, Redmatica (RIP), Z7S, JTV-59, Godin LGX-SA, Roland GI-20. The sweet spot remains the Godin LGX-SA and GI-20.

Mainly use Cubase 5 and have done so for years but I'm starting to use Ableton Live more and more now.
I use Logic every now and again when I need a change from the grind.

Logic 9.1 in my studio

Mainstage or Live on stage (live looping w/ just a mic and a foot controller)

ProTools only when I really have to (generally in studios other than my own)

Ableton for creation and Logic for sequencing. I used to be a big Cubase fan when I was using a PC
