I use two primarily:

DP 4.6 mainly
Logic Express 7.1

I've tried Live, but didn't care for it too much. All the GarageBand stuff is in Logic.

1.Garageband for gigs
2.Logic Pro 6 for recording/composition
3. Sibelius 2 for composition teaching tool

I agree with the previous poster, Garageband is awesome as a scratchpad but also for live accompaniment tracks. I use GB as my accompaniment while I do solo restaurant gigs. This way I can get the job done and not worry about losing an xskey. My main sequencer though is Logic Pro 6.4.3.I can't wait to upgrade to LP7 so I can expand on my GB arrangements. I wasn't aware Sibelius counted as a sequencer or I would have counted that as well.

Logic 7 for nearly everything, and Live 4 for the stuff Live does well that Logic does weakly.

Garageband is deleted from my Apps folder. I don't understand people using it as a "scratchpad" - Logic is way more powerful, faster, more configurable to my specific needs and more efficient. Logic is my scratchpad, composing tool and finishing tool.

That's true for me, too. I've tried to use GarageBand as a quick-test-make-song environment, but a default Logic Pro template with the right plugins is for me as fast. Maybe this differ between users. --Kent

Maybe guys should say it's a nice dongle-less scratch pad for those mobile days.

That's true. I had my horror story of my wallet dissappearing during the vacation where my dongle was placed. It's neither good to have a sticking dongle USB device in a laptop, easy for something to break with something sticking out. --Kent

Logic Pro, Live, and Numerology.

I keep Garageband installed but don't use it much.

I used to use Reason, but as I've fleshed out my complement of instruments and plug-ins I almost never use it anymore. Ever since Logic became Logic Pro and started throwing all the high-end instruments into the package for free, Logic has been my studio-in-a-box of choice.

I now use Logic 7 exclusively. I used to use DP, Ableton Live and Reason before switching to Logic a couple of years ago.

I've started using a tracker, I missed them first time round so am now really getting into Renoise. At the moment I like continually changing software so use Logic 7, Live 6, Renoise, Reason (but not for complete tracks), an MPC and sequencer in an Ensoniq SQ1 and ocassionally a Roland R8 drum machine as a sequencer.

i use 3 regularly.
i started with cubase 15 years ago and so cubase sx3...
i still prefer it to the sequencer part of logic pro 7 (maybe i can address my issues in another thread).
i also love reason 3 and ableton live.

Logic, ProTools LE (is that a sequencer?) and Sonar. Logic is my main one, but depending on who I'm working with at the moment I use all 3.
