SFX 6.2 on VMware Fusion

So I got VMFusion and XP Pro running but when I try to run SFX 6.2 it gives me an error saying that my sound card will not work with ASIO drivers. Is there a way around this or is this fundamental issue with Fusion?

Probably have better luck with boot camp, haven't looked in a while, not sure VMware has full audio support.

Thanks. I got it to sort of work. Well I got it to not give me that error. I installed ASIO4all and that stopped the error, but I still did not hear any output which was okay for my purposes of learning the UI of the program, not having to actually design a show in it. I think you are right though I’d have to go with bootcamp to really make it work. Here’s hoping Fusion 3 will help this.

I created a winxp pro machine and so far so good. Haven't tested ASIO yet though.
