I have been experimenting with the new DNA editor, and it is quite amazing, and extremely useful. I do have a couple of complaints running the plugin version in DP 7.01
double clicking the ruler (DP stopped) moves the cursor in the plugin but no sound
clicking on a blob - no sound
does not scroll when DP is playing (auto-scroll selected)
It does play when you use the arrow keys to move from blob to blob. Logic 9 only suffers from the non-scrolling.
These limitations force me to use the standalone version in most cases.
I hope I'm not missing anything ....

Re: New Melodyne Editor
Part of my 'personal' beta test of this amazing technology was this set of mechanical music box hymns drastically re-harmonised:

THE DUSTY DNA OF DR. CALIGARI
Antique musical machines meet Celemony Melodyne’s ‘DNA’ technology for a re-scaling session of dissonant intervalic reinterpretations and dusty flavorings suitable for the good Doctor’s bad ‘practice’. Extra old fairy dust patina courtesy of Audio Ease’s ‘Speakerphone’.
Believe me when I say, these are DRASTIC manipulations, several times I completely swapped the highest for the lowest or expanded/contracted the visible notes and quantized to various scales (Diminished, Wholetone, Bop, etc). I actually was enjoying the 'artifacts as effect' at times, all at the service of a effect beyond normal 'fixing' with oft interesting results (IMHO).
