Auto-slice/batch process app?
Auto-slice/batch process app?
I'm looking for a means to auto-slice 15 min files of spoken sentences and single words (there are silent gaps between each word/sentence), leaving a pre-defined space pre-/post- each slice. Also want to then batch process some eq/comp/normalise. I know AudioFinder can potentially do the auto-slice, but obviously if one app can cover all the tasks that's preferable. I've been looking on some forums for suggestions but nothing yet. What would you suggest?
Re: Auto-slice/batch process app?
You can use 'Strip silence' if you have Logic. Then you will be left with a bunch of regions you can turn into audiofiles.

Off the top of my head (if Audio Finder is not enough for the batch processing aspect), then take a look at:

Re: Auto-slice/batch process app?
Wavelab can do this as well. from about 5 onwards I think.
its a feature called Autosplit. I use it all the time when I can't be as*ed to chop up samples from films or whatever.
Wavelab also is now available for the MAC as well. Joy!
hope that helps.
