Ah, go back to *Berkley where you came from.

Post by MIDICH1 » 25 Jan 2005, 16:10

Look, bucko, you come to a non-yank site and insult the yanks which in turn actually insults our brothers to the north. So yeah, you're going to get bopped upside the head a bit, but sure, stick around. Just please don't get uppity just because you don't understand the sense of humor of the rest of the world (the English speakers at least).

And in case everybody didn't make it clear, no, you may not dictate how people should react to your "suggestion." This isn't the EU, after all.

*Berkley: a charming, beatuiful California town that is slowly losing its mind.
"And now you understand. Anything goes wrong, anything at all... your fault, my fault, nobody's fault... it won't matter - I'm gonna blow your head off. No matter what else happens, no matter who gets killed I'm gonna blow your head off. "

Well, turning this thread into an international US vs Canada vs Europe vs whatever battle would be a little silly wouldn't it? We've had more than enough playground battles to last us until Logic 11.01.

I think our newcomer just doesn't have the grasp of the English language he'd like to and meant no harm at all.

Xzusa8ky, welcome to OSXAudio. Like you, I'm a long time and avid reader of OSXAudio, but with few posts. Sharing opinions and making suggestions is what OSXAudio is all about; this said, I feel it's best to avoid comments that negate member's nationality, heritage, country or any other personal issues. We're all here to exchange ideas centered around music and the tools we use, and hopefully avoid political jabbing in the process. After all, music IS the language of the world. Linguistic barriers are common here and members expect them. Hell, I'm born a Canadian with Irish citizenship who grew up in France and now lives in California, and I feel very much a part of OSXAudio. Relax and enjoy.

WTF???

I don't think we needed confirmation: Fucanay is not a sneaking reptile and would not intrude 'eden' in such a way... if you can't avoid humiliating long time members can you at least give them the credit they deserve?

geez this site is worst than a bad remake of Snow White with a biblical overtone lately... one thing is sure however: the Apple is indeed poisonous.
