Whats really shocking is that these are designed to replace the knobs on these

http://www.referenceaudiomods.com/Merch ... ct_Count=1

At the price this costs, how come it doesn't come with decent knobs already?

Cheers

That is just amazing - what a claim. Anyone out there have any experience with this stuff? Care to chime in?

I bought a set of these a couple of months ago. My mixes sound WAY more organic. I'd make some A/B samples for you guys but my Eternal Life Device (http://www.alexchiu.com/) is interfering with my sound card.

They might release various versions of these, each of different wood type, for specific effects, the 'classical London sound', LA hit sound eq, and so forth... --Kent

The new knobs are custom made with beech wood and bronze where the bronze is used as the insert to mount to the stem of the volume pot.
What's with the bronze inserts though? I'm gonna have to start an after market selling titanium inserts. I'd let 'em go for only $250/pair.

Also, I hear that using pixelated versions of these knobs dramatically improves most plugins:
