Already updated same answer from me... Its duplicate post.. Repeated many times..
If you think your first post here can spew that much attitude without elucidation, especially when Logic Pro X just shipped and the new Mac Pro is now on the way, from your Windows box running Firefox 19, oh hey, you're on the the wrong forum, troll.

I truly can't get my head around the vibe that there are still people that moan about Logic....baffling to say the least.

just wait for the sandboxed version that renders all plug installers useless not to mention anything that's not still supported is gonna go bye bye which is inevitable of course but the sand boxing is going to be a hard line in the sand.

devs are already making sandboxed versions of their plugs and scrambling to figure out where logic wants files to go like prefs etc.. total mess and time that devs could be using to make new stuff but instead it's the apple logic AU dance.. again.

anyway.. i predict that will be the next round of moaning..

Cheater. They are already moaning. :)

I agree that I'd rather these devs not have even more ammunition to be irritated with Apple, though I was happy to see that Audio Damage may end up with a positive outcome, dropping DRM on all plug-ins altogether.

One good thing: I definitely wouldn't mind plug-in installers being limited to where they can jam stuff in my system. I'm trying to plan a migration to SSD right now and every plug-in stuffs something in a different place. It's madness, I tell you.

Btw, from what I've read on dev forums, I believe that users will be able to override the sandbox just like old, un-signed app installers in OS X 10.8 or later. It just won't look great.
