Live Intro

Postby G » Thu, 05 Nov 2009 12:16 pm

The new $99 Live Intro looks interesting to me as a Logic user. I was looking at their comparison with Live 8 and it all seems reasonable except for the lack of REX support and the Looper. Live, to me, is a better way to work with loops, then ReWire or save the results back into Logic. But I don't know anything about Live. Does this kill that plan or am I just green?

the one thing that seems completely unreasonable to me is the limit of 8 scenes. otherwise it would be a nice cheap host/sequencer/instrument for playing live.

I'm completely new to Live. What are scenes used for?

Think of scenes as sections of your song....intro, verse, chorus 1 etc. You'll quickly run into a wall with 8 scenes, IMO.
