Question about NI Kore Soundpacks

Post by willb » 18 Mar 2008, 11:31

Hey all,

If I buy one of those "soundpacks" from NI, will I be able to edit the sounds included in the full version of, e.g. Battery, Kontakt, or Reaktor? Specifically, does anyone know if the Synthetic Drums Reloaded pack will be available to a full version of Kontakt or Battery?

My understanding is that if I bought the Massive or Absynth Kore pack then I can use the sounds in the full versions. I'm not sure how it works with the Reaktor and sample packs, but I would guess it's possible. I couldn't find a clear answer on the site myself.
i love you

Yeah, the lack of clear answer is sort of troubling -- especially since the "Pop Drums" pack explicitly states that it works in Kontakt and Battery, but the "Synthetic Drums" one doesn't.

Well I have the Reaktor Pack and I know I've now got new ensembles such as Limelite which I didn't have before- that are now available within Kore2.

However if I open Reaktor as standalone it is not available. Is that what you meant?
