If you’ll be in San Francisco next week, and Godzilla hasn’t destroyed the city by then, you may want to check out the SF MusicTech Summit. This annual conference brings together visionaries in the evolving music/business/technology ecosystem, along with the best and brightest developers, entrepreneurs, investors, service providers, journalists, musicians, and organizations who work with them at the convergence of culture and commerce.
Attendees meet to do business and discuss related topics in a proactive, deal-conducive environment. There will be panels, parties, presentations, elevator pitch and speed networking sessions, and tons of opportunities. Speakers run the gamut from recording artists, to label and publisher executives to silicon valley engineers. The confirmed attendee list covers an even wider spectrum of music and technology professionals.
The Startup Innovators Challenge at SF MusicTech Summit is a way for promising startups to compete for an opportunity to showcase their products or themselves. Winning hacks from Music Hack Day SF will also be presented at SF MusicTech Summit. Music Hack Day is an international 24-hour event where programmers, designers and artists come together to conceptualize, build and demo the future of music. Software, hardware, mobile, web, instruments, art – anything goes as long as it’s music related.
SF MusicTech Summit will be held on 20 May 2014 at Hotel Kabuki in San Francisco, CA from 9 am to 6 pm. After that, the parties run until they’re over.
Will you be there? If so, let us know! We may be lurking there ourselves.
