NAMM 2015 — Sonarworks has released HD Reference, a plug-in that calibrates studio headphones. Cans can be adjusted to a flat response, various useful presets, or even made to sound like other headphones or speakers. Requires OS X 10.5 or later and a host DAW that supports AU, AAX Native, RTAS or VST plug-ins. HD Reference starts at €35 (50% off during January), or can be bundled with a pair of pre-calibrated headphones. Sonarworks will be at NAMM booth 6964 in Hall A.
