NAMM 2015 – After many years of development, Spectrasonics is thrilled to announce Omnisphere 2. The powerhouse synthesizer now includes audio import, over 400 new DSP waveforms, wavetable and granular synthesis, 8 new filter types, more than 3000 new patches and sound sources (including the stalactites from a radioactive European cave, circuit bent devices, and a synth made from an Altoids tin), a improved UI and browser, and new effects. Omnisphere 2 is coming 30 April 2015 for $499. The upgrade is $199 if you own Omnisphere, Trilian and Stylus RMX, and $249 if you don’t. Spectrasonics is at the NAMM Show, booth #6724.
