Kush Audio’s new Electra DSP EQ plug-in is based on the analog Kush UBK Electra (Electrified Transient Equalizer) hardware. Modeled by UBK himself, this DSP code promises to be as close to the hardware as possible. Electra DSP is unique in that it gives the user four carefully tuned filter types: A slightly resonant high-pass, a wide-slope low shelf, two proportional-Q mids, and an extra smooth mastering-style high shelf. Electra DSP is available now for $149. Requires an AU, VST or AAX Native host application, and an iLok 1 or iLok 2 USB authenticator.
