Slate Batch Commander originated as an exclusive utility on their Raven control surfaces. One button could execute up to 1,000 key commands, menu selections and mouse clicks. It saved a ton of time. Soon after, Slate released the Batch Commander standalone app for Pro Tools, giving anyone automated functionality without the need for a Raven console. Today, Slate releases Batch Commander 2.5, opening up not just macros for Logic Pro X, but also remote control from iPad and iPhone. Slate Remote is a free iOS app that pairs with the Batch Commander application on your Mac to automatically synchronize commands. It requires iOS 7 or later. Batch Commander is $99 during an introductory period. Both are available now.
