Propellerhead Software today announces Reason 9, the latest version of their music production software. Reason 9 builds on the award-winning Reason platform by introducing a host of new devices, sounds, and creative tools. Perhaps the most interesting on that list, the new Pitch Edit mode helps fix out-of-tune vocals, add vibrato, change timing, create new melodies from a recording, change the dynamics, and more. This begets Audio to MIDI mode, which lets you convert your vocals to MIDI notes for endless sound manipulation possibilities.

Reason 9 will be available for purchase worldwide on 21 June 2016 for $449. Upgrades from previous Reason versions are $129. Reason Essentials 9 will also be $129.
