Brainworx and Plugin Alliance have released the bx_townhouse Buss Compressor plugin. Built in 1978 by the legendary Townhouse studio engineers, this unique compressor was created using console components supplied by Solid State Logic (SSL). The original unit was built at a time where you couldn’t just buy an external console buss compressor, and it was used heavily during the 80s and beyond by some of the biggest names in rock, including Queen, Sting, Muse, and many more. The bx_townhouse Buss Compressor promises a little more vibe and mojo versus your everyday British console buss compressor.

The bx_townhouse Buss Compressor is available now for $299, but will be sold at a discounted intro pricing of $199 until July 31. It requires macOS 10.9 or later and an AU, VST, AAX (native or DSP), or AudioSuite plugin host.
