New Sonic Arts has released Nuance 2.0, a major update to their sampler plugin and standalone app. The new Table Sequencers in Nuance 2.0 allow rhythmic, tempo-synced modulation of any modulation target, while the XY Pad provides a powerful link between the Assignment Manager and the Modulation Matrix. An additional Modulation Envelope and an additional LFO have also been added. Assigning modulation is now quicker and easier courtesy of Modulator Drag and Drop. Nuance 2.0 also features a new User Samples Database, Cycle Groups for ‘Round Robin’ behavior across layers, Group and Layer multi-selection and editing, Assignment Shortcuts for quick in-place access to MIDI learn and Host Automation, SFZ file export, new Chorus and FM FX, and the ability to drag samples into your host DAW or other apps.
New Sonic Arts Nuance 2.0 is available now for €99 (currently around $115). It requires macOS 10.7.5 or later and an AU or VST plugin host. It also runs as a standalone app.
