Auburn Sounds has introduced Couture, a new plugin that is both a Transient Shaper and Saturation. Couture catches every transient thanks to a “painfully” researched RMS, half-spectral, 2-band, 100% program-dependent envelope follower (operation itself is 1-band). This lets you do very interesting things, like adding the same amount of saturation to a signal, even when the input level changes.
Auburn Sounds Couture is available now for €49, with an introductory price of €39 until September 16. A free version is also available, with the saturation section disabled. It requires macOS 10.8 or later and an AU, VST, or AAX plugin host.
