Plugin Alliance has released Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A. This new “Red” edition of the popular compressor is based on hardware that Vintage King released in 2012, limiting production to only 50 units. Now it’s available in software form exclusively via Plugin Alliance, with even more features to the emulation of the already modded hardware. The Red version is punchier, faster, and more versatile than the original Green. Brainworx also included its well-known retractable Extra Unit, with their TMT (patent pending Tolerance Modeling Technology), MS – processing, Mono-Maker, Stereo Width, Parallel Mix, Sidechain Filter continuously variable 12 dB per octave high pass filter and a Headroom parameter.
Plugin Alliance Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A is available now for $329, with an intro price of $199.99 until January 31. Check your email for a personal intro price that may be lower. If you already own the Green Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor, you’ll get the new Red edition for $99.99. Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor Class A requires macOS 10.9 or later and an AU, VST, AAX, or AudioSuite plugin host.
