EVB88: not exactly the worlds best emulation Have to agree with you on that one. What was Apple thinking? Is it supposed to be some kind of piano? Some kind of organ? Some Frankenstein hybrid? Thanks for clearing that up ....Iv'e been on Logic for a while now and was under the delusion that the EVB...

Checked the file you sent and it's 100% pure, error-free AIFF. I am going to try it myself in WaveBurner tonight. I might suggest, in the meantime, opening the file in Wave Editor and saving out _without_ appending the analysis data (use File > Save To...). Try that and let me know what happens. th...

Re: Free (or cheap) AU dithering plug ins?

Anyone know of any? Not looking for apps, but I do want to experiment with some different dithering plug ins if anyone has any recommendations. Thanks! I got Wave Editor also....I Love it...but there are a few issues that need to be worked out(as in all software) At any rate you might consider the ...

exchanging Aiff files between Wave Editor and Waveburner

I just downloaded WE 1.4 .......still checking it out I do have a question however......previously if I processed a aiff file in WE....If I wanted to I could drop that file into Waveburner and open it up without a problem.... I tried that with several files with WE 1.4 and some files I was given a p...

Apple doesn't need to do much to be at least equal with PT. Simply enhance the audio editing and it's there. I.e. add elastic audio, real tab to transients, etc. I just sold my PT HD3 Accel rig (last week) to return to using logic exclusively for my personal production (I still use PT, of course, a...

Re: Theremin Samples?

This might be impossible to capture via samples but does anyone know of a sample library for the Theremin? Well I'm no expert on the Therimin....But there is a sofware version of one in The Music Crow Gold Pack for Reaktor 5....I pulled it up and messed around with it....You might have some Fun wit...

Somewhere I got it in my head that if I did the upgrade form my Logic 7.2 to Logic 8, my 7 would cease to exist as I know and love it:) So, you did the upgrade, not an install of a new copy of 8? And you can still go back to good 'ol 7 if necessary? This would be good news . . . Aint The Blue Loung...

for roughly the same price I can A) update Logic and all my Waves plugs(well, the critical ones for now) and just hope that I get on well with Logic 8 right outta the gate, or B) just buy a new, separate copy of Logic 8, leaving my L7 intact. Hang on. I never had Logic Pro before version 8, but if ...
