need help to unlock a "dead" product...

Post by Istvan_bracz » 03 Aug 2007, 17:13

Unity Session made by Bitheadz
went belly-up a few years back. Worked nicely on OSX (great in OS9).
Those poor sods who bought it right before they went under (like me)
could only get one (or two) authorization unlock(s).
If any of us had to reformat our drives, etc, we were out of luck.
Is there any way to unlock or get past the authorization of a piece of software which has no maker anymore?
Is a crack/hack illegal if the company is dead???
Any ideas?
Thanks,
-Istvan

See if you can find Ted from Bitheadz, he was a product specalist and used to give out unlock codes.

I liked that software too...

http://www.eyeboxx.com/bios/ted.html

This is the guy who used to help out. Email him, ask nicely, and see if he can do anything. Honestly, he was the only guy who ever could, so if anyone can, Ted is the guy.

I hope it works out for you. I also wouldn't be too surprised if Ted has washed his hands of Bitheadz after all these years. I did a clinic of two with him, very nice guy.
