i am in need of major help

i have used pro tools 6 on a windows xp pc for the past 6 years. i have never had a problem. i upgraded recently since i kept running out of cpu power and tracks. i purchased an imac since everyone says that's the computer to use with pro tools, and i purchased pro tools 10
i have had nothing but problems since
i have been on the phone with tech support at avid until they cut me off saying i had to pay for anymore support

i have a million problems but these are the main ones
i have the mbpx pro software
i cannot get it to drive my sequencers no matter what i try and i have tried every setting
if i just use the keyboard controller the note played is late, the note will play when i lift the key not when i press down on the key

if any of you guys can solve this problem for me i am sure i am going to come to you with all the other problems. but at the moment this is really hindering my work

Can you start and save a new session with no problems?
How is the Mbox Pro connected to you sequencers? I see there mist be some sort of adapter that looks like VGA that goes to 5 pin din?
Which sequencers are you using?
How are you trying to drive your sequencers? Midi clock? SMPTE? MTC?
