TAL-BassLine
'analog' bass synthesizer
http://kunz.corrupt.ch/?Products:VST_TAL-BassLine

"TAL-BassLine is a virtual analog bass synthesizer especially made for bass, acid sounds and effects. It’s based on a robust core and has the usual controls of analogue hardware synthesizers.
A unique -18dB low pass filter with a lot of asymmetric and random components introduce a warm and analogue sound. Very fast, non linear envelopes are also a part of this synth."

Added to Pluggos :

Basement Crossfade
Crossfade plug-in designed for Abelton Live
http://www.basementhum.com/2008/04/smoo ... leton.html

basement_crossfade a very simple Mac OS X VST plugin primarily designed for use in Ableton Live. It accepts two audio inputs and a single crossfade control determines the mix sent to its output.

Added to VST FX :

House effect
compressor
http://www.improvisator.de/en/HouseEffekt.htm

Jonathan Schmid-Burgk has announced that the Mac OS X version of his freebie House Effect VST is now available. The source code is also now downloadable directly. House Effect is a VST effect plugin that makes it very easy to create typical extreme compression often found in some styles of House music. Simply chain it as an insert-effect after your synthesizer and connect its MIDI input to the bassline via an aux-send of the percussion track. The bass drum will then trigger a strong gain.

Stereo Tool
stereo width control with phase inversion
http://www.fluxhome.com/index.php?optio ... &Itemid=79

"This tool allows a super precise control of the stereo image.
Stereo Tool features ultra precise controls of input gain and individual pan for left and right channels. A phase inverter is available for each channel. A global stereo pan and a stereo width settings are also implemented to complete the management of the stereo signal.
Stereo Tool also offers an accurate visual feedback reflecting the signal content. A vector scope display, PPM meters for both inputs and outputs, and a phase correlation meter permanently monitor the signal.
Inserting our Stereo Tool after a Bitter Sweet II will open your mind about all the possible manners to control the stereo stage.

As all Flux:: plug-ins it features 64 bit floating point processing, up to 8 FS (384 KHz)."

Clocker
sends MIDI clock signal
http://www.expert-sleepers.co.uk/clocker.html

"Clocker is a utility plug-in that sends MIDI clock.
Why would you want a plug-in to do that, when your host app sends MIDI clock perfectly fine? Well, with Clocker you have a separate, adjustable source of MIDI clock. So you can send all kinds of crazy tempo to some of your outboard gear, while the rest of your stuff plays back in time as usual.

It's a niche requirement, granted.

Oh, it's free, as in beer."

TAL-U-No-62
Juno 60 analogue Synth emulation
http://kunz.corrupt.ch/?Products:VST_TAL-U-No-62

"U-No-62 is an improved and completely refactored version of U-No-60. Improvements:

More accurate filter sound.
More overtones in the oscillators.
Faster LFO rate (0.1-30HZ).
A lot faster envelopes.
Audio Unit available.
Presets are not compatible with U-No-60 Presets."

Previous U-No-60 description :

The U-NO-60 vst plugin is a polyphonic virtual analogue synth with a unique filter sound. An original JUNO 60 is used as reference for the oscillators and filters.
Like the original, the plugin is capable of self-resonance and thus could be used to some degree as a tone generator.
The filter section also features controls for envelope amount and polarity, LFO modulation and keyboard tracking. In addition, a non-resonant highpass filter is provided to thin out lower frequencies.

The U-NO-60, notwithstanding, few parameters, can make a wide range of different and
exciting sounds.
Polyphonic (6 voices)
Bandlimited oscillators
One syncable LFO with five different waveforms
24 dB lowpass filter with self oscillation, non-resonant high-pass filter
Fast ADSR envelopes
Smooth cutoff changes (also with midi controllers)
Velocity sensitive filter envelope
Midi learn for all potis
Supports all sample rates
20 Presets "

Sound Delay is an auxiliary multi-channel signal delaying plug-in for professional audio applications. You may specify delay time in both milliseconds and samples, with a high level of precision. This plug-in - being technical in its purpose - provides a basic signal delaying function only, without signal feedback or modulation capabilities.

Sound Delay also features internal mid/side encoding and decoding, and allows you to delay mid and side channels independently.

Features

* Sample-accurate delaying
* Millisecond-accurate delaying
* Up to 3 seconds overall delay
* Multi-channel processing
* Internal channel routing
* Channel grouping
* Mid/side processing
* Preset manager
* Undo/redo history
* A/B comparisons
* Contextual hint messages

Compatibility
This plug-in can be loaded into any audio host application that conforms to the VST or AudioUnit plug-in specification.

This plug-in is compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista (32- and 64-bit) and Mac OS X 10.4.11 and above (Intel and PowerPC) computers (2 GHz dual-core or faster processor with at least 1 GB of system RAM recommended). A separate binary distribution file is available for each target computer platform for each plug-in format.

FreeeQ
equaliser
http://www.ericsoundplugins.com/freeeq_info.html

"You can never have too many different types of EQ in your toolbox, especially if they use advanced 64-bit analogue modeling, sound great and costs nothing! The FreeeQ is a high-quality 3 band ‘instant results’ EQ which is also highly optimized (especially considering what it’s doing ‘under the hood’) for CPU usage, so you can use this on loads of tracks in your mix. You may find that this is all you need. It's not the features of an EQ that make the sound, and flashy guis or being able to tweak a plug all day long does not replace tone!"

"You will find that the FreeeQ has a very smooth, mastering type quality to its sound. It has a definite, high quality analogue tone and interactive curve which makes it very musical. I think that this more than makes up for the lack of extra controls that your DAW's built-in equaliser uses. It is also completely free so get it now!"

Voxengo Overtone GEQ

Image
Overtone GEQ is 7-band harmonic (overtone) graphic equalizer with multi-channel support (supporting up to 8 input/output channels, host setup-dependent). Overtone GEQ offers extensive internal channel routing capabilities, and supports mid/side channel processing.

Beside equalizing, Overtone GEQ applies harmonic enhancement processing: it uses 7 harmonic enhancement modules, one for each EQ band. This generates a complex harmonic coloration you will probably like a lot.

Overtone GEQ was designed to allow audio engineers to apply quick EQ shape adjustments together with adding a bit of harmonic richness to the audio material (mainly mixes and sub-mixes due to a comparably high processing load this EQ puts on a CPU).

Features:

* 7-band graphic equalizing
* +/- 12 dB gain range per band
* 2 graphic equalizer views
* Multi-channel processing
* Internal channel routing
* Channel grouping
* Mid/side processing
* Complex harmonic coloration
* 64-bit floating point processing
* Preset manager
* Undo/redo history
* A/B comparisons
* Contextual hint messages

GetaBlitchJr
MIDI -sequenced gate
http://www.betabugsaudio.com/plugs.php

"GetaBlitch Jr. is a sequenced gate effect that is different from traditional "trance gates" in two significant ways: first, it uses MIDI to sequence the gate, rather than a built-in step sequencer; second, it gates the left and right channels of a stereo signal independently and potentially simultaneously.
