MOTU
MOTU is working with Apple to ensure current MOTU products are compatible with Lion, and to provide a smooth transition for your MOTU products when you upgrade to Lion.
In most cases, current versions of your MOTU software and hardware drivers appear to be compatible with Lion, although final compatibility testing is still on-going. In some cases, MOTU software updates or driver updates may be available soon to achieve 100% compatibility. Check
motu.com frequently for further announcements in the near future.
If you are a Digital Performer user, read on for important information about compatibility with Lion.
Attention Digital Performer users
Digital Performer 7.2.3 is currently not compatible with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion). We recommend that Digital Performer users wait for an upcoming release of Digital Performer (7.2.4) before they upgrade. We are aware of the issue and working to ship the Digital Performer 7.2.4 software update as soon as possible, free of charge to all registered DP7 owners.
Update via
@motutech
Digital Performer 7.24 maintenance update is now available and includes full compatibility with Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion)
Edit, 10 August 2011: Another update from MOTU for their
hardware interfaces
A new universal audio installer for Mac OS X
For Mac OS X, we've created a consolidated universal audio installer that ensures that all MOTU driver and software components for both audio and MIDI interface operation are up-to-date and compatible. Mac OS X 10.5.8 or later is recommended, including Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).

Metric Halo
(From their
company forum right here on Mac OS X Audio. Just dropping a breadcrumb in this topic.)
We have tested Lion with all the software here prior to the launch of Lion.
All Metric Halo software (MIO Console, MIO Driver, SpectraFoo, and all flavors of ChannelStrip) works properly on Lion, with one small exception.
if you use Lion's default inverted two finger (scrollwheel) scrolling mechanism, when you use our software's feature that allows you to adjustment controls (knobs, faders) in our UIs you will find that the adjustment direction is inverted from what you expect.
We expect to be able to ship a fix for that pretty soon (or you can set Lion to use the old two finger scrolling so that it continues to work like Snow Leopard).

My MOTU Ultralite (I think v2 of the hardware if not v1) works fine with Lion 10.7 the fact that almost all of PT can't handle it is one of the major reasons I switched from that dead end a long time ago.
Have fun,

That being said about PT my version of the most recent Sibelius works fine, as expected. Tested with General MIDI enhanced.
Have fun,

Through a crazy set of circumstances I am now on the bleeding edge with Logic 9.1.4 in Lion on my 2008 Mac Pro.
Gold Star goes to GForce Software - everything working perfectly including original MTron, Oddity plus the new stuff! I want to have their baby even though I know it's not physically possible.
Totally incompatible:
Apogee Duet - update in August?
TimewArp 2600 - can bypass AU validation but still crashes Logic when loading (beautiful sounding plugin but has always been the buggiest POS on my computer!)
Waldorf Edition - copy protection error - Waldorf is working on it!
Crashes AU Validation but working in "Incompatible" mode:
XILS 3
polyKB II
Abbey Road TG 12413 Limiter and Brilliance Pack
PSP Stereo Pack
URS BLT EQ

XILS Poly KB-II passed Validation and is working fine for me.
I did do a clean install of System and Programs, btw...

iZotope
Mac OS X 10.7 Lion Compatibility
Our recommendations for Mac users
We have tested all iZotope products with Apple's latest operating system and are pleased to report that Mac OS X 10.7 is fully supported.
However, as many host manufacturers have not yet announced support for Mac OS X 10.7, we strongly recommend contacting your host manufacturer directly to ensure your entire system is fully supported before proceeding with this upgrade.

Beta site, and a lot of people have reported that they have been working fine.

Avid — Pro Tools (update)
Download Pro Tools 9.0.5 Updaters and Read Me Documents
Known Issues in Pro Tools 9.0.5 (Beta) on Mac OS X 10.7.x ("Lion")
Pro Tools 9.0.5 adds public beta support for Apple's OS X Lion operating system. Please see the Pro Tools 9.0.5 Mac Read Me before you update for important information on installing the Lion operating system and installation and use of Pro Tools 9.0.5, including the following:
Upgrading to Lion can result in the uninstallation of Pro Tools components.
If you upgrade from Mac OS X 10.6.x ("Snow Leopard") to Mac OS X 10.7.x ("Lion") with Pro Tools already installed, DigiDioMIDIServer.plugin and DigidesignFireWireMIDI.plugin will be uninstalled during the Lion install.
If you subsequently try to launch Pro Tools, a dialog will appear indicating that these files were moved to an Incompatible Software folder.
To run Pro Tools on Mac OS X 10.7.x ("Lion"), create a clean Lion partition and install Pro Tools directly to that partition. Avid recommends against updating a Snow Leopard partition that already had Pro Tools installed due to the potential for Lion to uninstall certain components during its installation process.
The Send To DigiDelivery command in Pro Tools will not work with Mac OS X 10.7.x (“Lion”).
The DigiDelivery client application requires Rosetta to be installed. Mac OS X 10.7.x does not support Rosetta. The Send to DigiDelivery command in Pro Tools will not function on Lion.
Please see the Pro Tools 9.05 Read Me for additional known issues.

I am having issues with getting the Abbey Road Brilliance pack to work. I have the other plugins, but the three Brilliance Pack pieces are CRASHING VALIDATION in Logic. Anyone have a fix or workaround? I've written to Abbey Road Plugins support, twice, but they've not responded.
Thanks,
Bob
