The 64-bit Plug-In List

Post by G » 16 Jul 2013, 18:06

Here it is. Go to it!

Sylenth1 and any old Pluggo plug-ins (i.e. Tritone Digital) are the obvious 32-bit fails at the moment.

Everything recent from NI, u-he, Waves, Sonic Charge and other groovy devs is 64-bit, validates a-ok in 10.8.x and shows up in Logic Pro X. Still need time to test things well.

Don't have X yet but can verify working 64bit plugs from, UAD, IK multimedia( minus their virtual instruments ), Izotope iDrum, UVI and Celemony.

I suspect that 64bit plugs that validated with Logic 9 will validate with Logic X.

Still waiting on the IK instruments, and Drum Core.

Word from LennarDigital regarding Sylenth1.
Sylenth1 on Mac OSX 64bit
23 July 2013
Recently we receive a lot of questions about how to run Sylenth1 in 64bit hosts on OSX, such as the new Logic X and Ableton Live 9. We are still working on a 64bit version of Sylenth1 and we're hoping to get it done before the end of this year. Until then there are a few options to run Sylenth1 in these hosts. You can find an example walkthrough here.

For Ableton Live it is recommended to use the 32bit version of Live to run Sylenth1. If you still need the 64bit version, you can use JBridge to run Sylenth1.
