Post by mrzebre » 04 Sep 2013, 16:48

I have some trouble with my audio-midi configuration since i installed a driver to use the mbox 1 on Lion. There is one driver called by ploytec:
Since i installed it ableton live need like 5 minutes to start and my midi devices don't work anymore...
I tryed to delete the driver but it still not working. Why i try to open the utility---midi configuration, it freeze...

Can somebody help? probably not.

Never heard of that company, can you get your money back?

I suggest that you spend $100 and get an interface that is USB compliant and doesn't require a driver.

A more current interface most likely will improve your sonic quality.

The mbox 1 was known as a cheap entry point to Pro Tools, not for it's sonic character.

Also you should consider updating to 10.8.4 I experienced a performance gain using Logic Pro 9, vs any previous of lion or mountain lion.
