I bought a 3tb hard drive, backed up everything on my mac pro running 10.6.7 Snow leopard.
Then I installed Mavericks to try and resolve an issue with a piece of hardware - didnt work, and effectively broke Logic 8
So now I want o restore to 10.6.7 using time machine but it looks like it's not as simple as I thought it might be.
Ive seen Youtube videos saying you have to boot from a drive (flash or otherwise) with the mounted image of OSX on it.
Is it possible to just restart computer hold down, Command R, and tell it somehow to restore to a few days ago??
Restoring to a Previous version of OSX (Mavericks - snow leo
Re: Restoring to a Previous version of OSX (Mavericks - snow
If I choose to install Snow leopard from the install DVD will I be able to restore my 3rd party software from time machine or will i have to manually install everything?
Re: Restoring to a Previous version of OSX (Mavericks - snow
OK, so I did a clean reinstall of Snow Leopard because everything I had read said after you can restore your applications from time machine. But Im having a problem when I go to migration assistant in the utilities folder and go to select a hard drive - My time machine hard drive is not listed.
What can i do?
