Slate Digital Plugins have been tested on OS X 10.11 (El Capitan) and we recommend to not upgrade your system.

We have confirmed a crash with the Virtual Mix Rack during the AU validation in Logic. We are currently working on this issue and we will keep you updated with compatibility moving forward.
Looks like this also applies to SSD4 and Trigger.

MOTU

https://motu.com/en-us/news/motu-and-os-x-el-capitan/
Current versions of all MOTU software products and most hardware drivers available at motu.com/download (latest versions) appear to be compatible with El Capitan, although final compatibility testing is still on-going. Please make note, however, of the USB compatibility warning below.

All MOTU AVB-equipped interfaces are fully compatible with OS X El Capitan, using Thunderbolt, USB and AVB Ethernet.

USB-equipped MOTU audio and MIDI interfaces listed below are currently incompatible with OS X El Capitan. MOTU is working on driver updates that will be available soon at motu.com/download. In the meantime, if your MOTU interface offers FireWire or Thunderbolt connectivity, you can use FireWire or Thunderbolt instead of USB for connectivity to OS X El Capitan. However, if you require USB connectivity to El Capitan, we strongly recommend that you do not upgrade until MOTU driver updates become available.

Audio Interfaces:

828x
Track 16
MicroBook II
8pre USB
4pre
Audio Express
UltraLite-mk3 Hybrid
896mk3 Hybrid
828mk3 Hybrid
Legacy MOTU USB audio interfaces

MIDI Interfaces:

MIDI Express XT
MIDI Express 128
micro express
micro lite
FastLane
Legacy MOTU USB MIDI interfaces

iConnectivity

http://www.iconnectivity.com/blog/iconn ... nd-ios-902
Apple has recently released updates to both OS X for Mac and iOS9 for iOS devices. iConnectivity has tested their products with both devices and can confirm that all products and software do work with these updated operating systems, however, there are some limitations that are imposed by the OS and we will continue to work with all parties to resolve.

Nice! I'm also hearing that the current El Capitan 10.11.1 beta fixes the AU validation errors we've been reading about in other plug-ins. That leaves the strange hardware bugs, but hopefully those are also on Apple's radar right now.

Apple has released OS X El Capitan 10.11.1, including a fix for certain AU plug-ins. Note, however, that there is no mention of a fix for bugs in some audio hardware (yet).

Apogee

http://www.apogeedigital.com/blog/apoge ... el-capitan
All of Apogee's current products are supported & fully compatible with the new Mac OS X El Capitan.
Almost all... Note that Apogee is officially dropping support for Duet and Ensemble Firewire with El Cap, but you "can expect the same performance as with previous OS versions."

Hosting AU is NOT working in El Capitan.
It starts, maybe some functions work, but whenever I try to add the AUNBand EQ filter it crashes.
Can anyone confirm this please?

It looks like things are coming together nicely. Logic Pro X and FCPX are good, of course. My important plug-ins seem to be good, and both of my audio interfaces (UA Apollo Twin Duo & MOTU 828mk3 Firewire, not USB) have been ok'd by their makers. If I was still using Cubase or some other edge case, I'd be more worried. I should probably check some of my audio editors and utilities to be sure.

Personally, I'm going to wait until the 10.11.2 revision, then upgrade from Yosemite. I believe it's on its 5th beta release right now, so it probably won't be a very long wait.
