macOS Mojave compatibility

Post by G » 10 Sep 2018, 21:02

It's that time of year again!

This topic is for compatibility news or issues related to macOS Mojave (10.14).

Updates may be made after we post. We will link directly to developer compatibility statements where possible. As always, triple check everything on your system before a major upgrade.

Users and developers, please post and update at will!

Steinberg

https://www.steinberg.net/en/newsandeve ... -4855.html
Apple has announced its new macOS version 10.14, Mojave, to be released soon, and the next update by Microsoft, Windows 10 October 2018 Update (Redstone 5), is imminent as well. What does this mean for you and us here at Steinberg. It means that from October on, we shall begin testing our current line of products on both these operating systems. It also means that we strongly recommend you to wait with the update to macOS Mojave and Windows 10 October 2018 Update until the entire compatibility chart for all Steinberg products has been published no later than November 2018. If you're relying on a trouble-free operation of our product, then please do heed our advice.

Focusrite

https://support.focusrite.com/hc/en-gb/ ... ave-10-14-
We've been testing with various beta releases of Mojave and the Golden Master release across multiple Mac systems - compatibility information for all current products is listed below.

Please check that all other software/hardware you use to make music is also compatible before updating and never update your operating system during the middle of a time-critical project.

Based on past experience we would generally advise waiting for a few months after the release of any new operating system before updating in case there are any initial issues which need to be patched.

If you receive an error message stating 'System Extension Blocked' after installing Focusrite software/drivers then please see this article.
(All hardware is generally compatible except the RedNet series of interfaces.)

Arturia

https://www.arturia.com/faq/installatio ... -14-mojave
We are currently testing our product ranges on the new Apple operating system, macOS Mojave 10.14.

To make sure your studio remains fully operational and avoid any compatibility issue, we recommend to stay on your current OS until we fully tested our products with macOS 10.14 Mojave.
Update
At the moment, our virtual instruments and effects are compatible with macOS Mojave on Logic Pro X and Garage Band.

However, we cannot guarantee the compatibility of our software lines with other hosts until each DAW manufacturers announce their compatibility with macOS Mojave.

Apogee

https://www.apogeedigital.com/blog/maco ... ility-info
There are no Apogee software updates required for macOS Mojave or iOS 12 compatible products if upgrading from macOS Sierra (10.12) or iOS 10 and above.
All Apogee hardware is compatible with macOS Mojave, except for three older models that are no longer supported (same as last year): Duet FireWire (2007), Ensemble FireWire (2006), and ONE (2009). The latter actually works, but only at 44.1 kHz.
