Our initial testing shows general compatibility with macOS Monterey and Windows 11. When upgrading, please proceed with caution and report any anomalies to our support.

Below are two known issues on Monterey currently:

• There is a PACE-related issue with Garageband 10.4.4 that prevents Gullfoss from loading under some circumstances. PACE and Apple are working on resolving the issue.
• There is a framerate issue in Reaper that seems to degrade Gullfoss’ performance. Cockos has been made aware of the issue.

Apple M1 chips

There is new Apple hardware with new processors on the market:

• M1
• M1 Pro
• M1 Max

The compatibility of a Mac with the Apple M1 chip and UJAM products has been successfully tested. Please note that UJAM plugins are still running on Rosetta, but not natively on M1.

We plan to run further tests in order to ship an update this year. For now, please always start your DAW in 'Rosetta Mode' (Applications folder ➜ right click on the application ➜ get info ➜ check 'Open using Rosetta').

New Operating Systems

The leading software companies Apple and Microsoft recently both released new operating systems:

• macOS 12 Monterey
• Windows 11

While we do not yet officially provide support for macOS 12 or Windows 11, our team is currently testing UJAM products with both of these new operating systems. So far, we are not aware of any compatibility issues.
