My M1 Mac mini is on the way from B&H. I saved some money on the full spec model at the expense of any kind of ETA. Fingers crossed.

Focusrite

At time of writing Focusrite Pro products are not supported on Apple Silicon-based Mac systems as we are aware of some issues.
Once we have completed verification of the compatibility status of our current products we will update this article, until then we would recommend against relying on using such a system in conjunction with your Focusrite Pro product.
The Scarlett 2i2 interface appears to be working fine via USB class compliant (native built-in) driver. If you need something to get you up and running immediately, this may hold you over. You just won't have access to their Focusrite Control software for a bit.Focusrite product compatibility with macOS 11 "Big Sur" on Apple Silicon-based systems
Works with Big Sur on Apple Silicon? YES*
The Scarlett 3rd Gen range is class compliant and can presently be used with Apple Silicon systems as audio devices.
*However we’re aware of compatibility issues with Focusrite Control. We are investigating these issues and hope to provide a status update in the near future, though we can’t give an exact date for that just yet.

As with Focusrite, however, (many of?) their MIDI/USB controllers are class compliant and should just work, at least with basic functionality.Novation product compatibility with Big Sur on Apple Silicon

https://fuseaudiolabs.com/#/posts/2020- ... 2_2-update
FREE UPDATE: All our plugins have been updated to add native support for the new Apple Silicon platform in AU, VST2 and VST3. Pro Tools does not run natively on M1 machines, so AAX support is currently only available on Intel equipped Macs or through Big Sur's Intel emulation layer (Rosetta). We'll release another update here as soon as Avid provides a compatible version of their AAX SDK.

As of this date, we are still finalizing support for Dante applications on Intel based macs running macOS Big Sur. Support for Intel-based Macs running Big Sur is anticipated in early 2021.
We do not recommend installing Dante software (Dante Controller, Dante Virtual Soundcard, Dante Via) on any Macs that use the new M1 ARM SoC. We are working to ensure proper compatibility with these new products, expected later in 2021.

Apple M1 CompatibilityFollowing the release of Apple’s macOS Big Sur (11.0), we’ve conducted a series of tests on our current lineup of instruments and we’ve have found no issues with either the standalone applications or the plug-ins.

Following the release of Apple's latest M1-based computers, our preliminary tests shown that our instruments and effect are not currently compatible with this latest generation of chips.
We are currently working on bringing support for Apple M1 chip; free maintenance updates will soon be available.
